MYSTIC SANDS Beachfront Bungalows is one of the few hotels near Neiafu that is right on the beach. Located on 'Utungake, an island linked to the main island by a causeway, it is only about 15 minutes from town and yet enjoys an island style atmosphere. There are four boutique style guest accommodations, each with comfortable king size bed (or two singles), a separate single bed, cool tiled floors and ceiling fan, plus a kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Outside is a private verandah with outdoor furniture leading right on to the beach. There is also a family unit above and behind the four cottages. Facilities include friendly on-site staff, laundry service, tropical gardens and telephone. The husband of your host also runs a taxi service into town if you need. There is also a jetty with thatched covered seating area ideal for watching sunrises or sunsets. Fishing tours will collect you right from the jetty.
